Something is Stirring at The Plough…

Torrington Players are positively thrilled to reveal that preparations of a most intriguing and faintly improper nature are underway for our forthcoming production at The Plough Arts Centre this November.

We have selected a comedy of the most exquisite pedigree — sparkling, sophisticated, and just a trifle otherworldly — in which the cocktails are perfectly chilled, the repartee impeccably delivered, and the boundary between this world and the next treated with a degree of casual indiscretion.

Naturally, what begins as an entirely civilised evening — tasteful, controlled, and conducted with the utmost propriety — is soon thrown into charming disarray by the arrival of a guest who is, shall we say, no longer troubled by the inconveniences of mortality… and quite disinclined to take the hint.

Auditions will be held this July, and we should be delighted to welcome both seasoned performers and daring newcomers into the fold. Further particulars, including dates and arrangements, will be announced imminently.

Performances will take place this November at The Plough Arts Centre, where we trust the living and the dead alike will find themselves thoroughly entertained.
