We plan a Play Reading of "Lark Rise" at the Conservative Club on Wed 16th January 2013 7.30pm.
But please check on this Site before you go, as the Library have not responded to our requests for copies and, so far, Amazon have not delivered our order.
5th Sep 2012 - Play Reading - Autumn
There will be a reading of the script for any who are interested of our next production: The Good Doctor by Neil Simon, which pokes gentle fun at the human condition in a series of absolutely hilarious short stories. A cast of 4-24. Wed Sept 5th at the Torrington Conservative Club 7.30. All welcome.

20th Mar 2012 - Play Reading - March
At Joyce Ridgwell’s house (186 New Street, Torrington) with a reading of Neil Simon’s New York comedy – Barefoot in the Park. Please ring Joyce on 01805 623588 if possible, so we know how many chairs to get out. We donate £1 towards wine and nibbles, so if you do attend please have a newly minted pound coin in your hand.
22nd Jul 2012 - Garden Party!
Jean has also kindly agreed to host a summer garden party and cream tea in late July at Jean Tyler’s garden in Stevenstone (in the barns if wet).
We are hoping to book outside entertainment in the form of a murder mystery company so we do need to know this is a runner. PLEASE EXPRESS AN INTEREST IN THIS EVENT BY SATURDAY 26 MAY as we have a planning meeting with the murder mystery company early the following week . See Bill’s contact details above. Friends & family are very welcome. No contact – no event!
The frolics will begin at 4 p.m on Sunday at Heronslake – in the sunshine. Hope you have already put the date in illuminated letters into your diaries. If not perhaps you can be tempted when you hear that Jenny Brown has offerred to bake the scones fresh on Sunday morining AND there will be some exciting entertainment – not to be missed. Should you wish to sit down during the festivities, please bring along a folding chair …or a chesterfield if it will fit in your car!

6th Feb 2012 - Auditions - "Mars"
Auditions for’Mars’ will take place at Taddiport Village Hall on Monday 6 & Thursday 9 February at 7.30. Parts for 4 women + 1man + offstage voices + stage crew with Pickfords Removals experience (and that’s just for the make-up) You can come to either or both of these or you could ring Bill Grainger on 622594.
