Jean has also kindly agreed to host a summer garden party and cream tea in late July at Jean Tyler’s garden in Stevenstone (in the barns if wet).
We are hoping to book outside entertainment in the form of a murder mystery company so we do need to know this is a runner. The frolics will begin at 4 p.m on Sunday at Heronslake – in the sunshine. Hope you have already put the date in illuminated letters into your diaries. If not perhaps you can be tempted when you hear that Jenny Brown has offerred to bake the scones fresh on Sunday morining AND there will be some exciting entertainment – not to be missed. Should you wish to sit down during the festivities, please bring along a folding chair …or a chesterfield if it will fit in your car!
